I'm averaging a bit over 25 mpg in strictly city driving. I've made two long highway trips, and averaged 35.0 and 33.4 respectively.

This is the # your DIC shows, not what you get using the "old-school" math method.

I'm not talking about the one time you reset it going 62 on your trip to TN and got 47 mpg, I mean what is your usual average week to week (or fillup to fillup)
@ $3.39 / Gallon for 87 Octane with 10% Ethanol, I'm averaging a fillup of ~$37.00 every 4-5 days. I average about 280 - 330 Miles per tank if I am pushing it a little bit every day for an hour or 2 total.

On average I run a combined 26 MPG or 8.9L/100KM but straight freeway driving I get 6L/100km or 40 MPG!!

That is with a 2.9 pulley 42 LB injectors and a Trifecta tune. Oh and a slipping clutch.....

Well I drove to Cape Cod averaging 67/68mph the whole way and got 35.6 mpg

Normally I'm low 30s or high 20s depending on how much I play.

2.0 LSJ Intake Mod, headers, exhaust, B & M.

22-27 depending on my spirited driving on the tank.

Cruising longer distances I always get 38mpg ALWAYS

DIC stays 32 but I never reset it.

DIC is telling me I'm +/- 37mpg depending on how hard I push it. Just filled the tank yesterday and my own math came out to just under 34mpg. Mix of city/highway as half my daily commute is city streets, and the other half is a 65mph cruise down the freeway.

'06 Cobalt LS sedan, bone stock.

Edit: 5-speed manual.

I own a 2009 cobalt tc with only gm stage II update to computer with cai. Just drove from baltimore to budds creek for the import vs dom drag race. Normal driving, some wot runs on the highway, and a few stops in traffic idling waiting to get in parking lot of race track and leaving. average was 30.2.

Highway is usually around 36-38
City is 28... on a good day!
Last month I realized going 55 MPH instead of 65 can make a HUGE difference.
