Only one station around here has above 91, it's 94 and the only thing I try to use.

SOOT > DETONATION

you are not going to detonate on 91, especially with your mods. 94 is fine for your car though. The people that are going to be pissed at themselves are the 2.2's running 93+ on stock tunes and guys running 100 octane on stock tunes . If they ever decide to make a project out of it and pull the head after a lot of miles, they'll be surprised to see a huge mound of "coal" on the valve faces.

I would normally agree with you, but I get knock retard on my semi-stock SS/TC so I'm trying to be cautious.

I generally don't see any when using 94 octane and my bigger intercooler.

octane boost is a waste of money, any gains are in your head.

no, you will get worse fuel economy. in your ss tc you will save money by using premium, because you will get better mileage than you would with regular.

yes, I have shown the math on here before and i'll do it again if someone wants, but with one bottle of your average octane booster, you will increase the overall effective octane level of your whole tank by less than one point

Yeah the bottle even says 0.5-1 point. It's more for it's anti-knock properties than Octane boost.

well i think most people think that 1 point is like 1 full octane jump up so if you have 93 octane, put in octane boost, you now have 94

I'm running 93 as stated before. But by the end of next week I'll be running 93+ 80/20 meth mix.
