‘06 Chevy Cobalt
So I haven’t driven my 2006 Chevy Cobalt for 3 months. I try to start my car but the battery is dead, I go to take my keys out and they’re stuck in the ACC position.. I figure once I jump it, I’ll be able to get my keys back, I go to open my trunk but the trunk button doesn’t work due to dead battery and my only key is stuck in the ignition.. I go to go through the backseats to open my trunk but in order to put the seats down, the button is in the trunk.. I now have no idea what I’m supposed to do.
i hope this website helps me somehow and is still running. thanks

I am almost wondering if it never got the ignition switch problem fixed. It was a real bad deal. If your battery is dead, it either A has some sort of draw on the battery, or your alternator isn't charging. I am not sure if they have the charging in the dash or not. Its been a while for me. It could also be dirty cables, or a bad cable. The terminal connectors are making good contact and are tight correct?
Why not just used the positive post on the fuse box under the hood? Pop the hood and hook up a battery charger there? Or get one that plugs into the lighter outlet. Or just jump it from the under hood positive post.
Jump the car from under the hood. You don't need power to pop the hood. If you really want to get in the trunk you can try to pop rear seat back out, and pull the emergency open handle in the trunk.
