LOL I don't think they will change anything on them. I would hope they fix the idling issue though on the 07's. They will probably just fix the kinks. Isn't 2008 the year the cobalt changes?

maybe a 2.4L s/c but most likely theyre wont be any difference... im gonna wait till 07's anyway so i can see if they make the solstice turbo might have to get one of them instead (rwd, conv, 6spd, 20k$ ish... cant beat it)

Onstar will be standard in 2007 (from GM's annual report to shareholders). XM radio is also rumoured to be standard as well. You can also expect some slight appearance changes such as different/more aggressive ground effects on the various models and probably more standard features available on the base models, but definitely nothing overly drastic.

I hope they only work the bugs out of em. I want to buy one brand new in spring! and have them look the same as they do now. more power is of course always nice!

Yes that is true , the ION is completely new in 2008 and I have no clue to extent of any Cobalt changes . I dont know how much truth their is to it , but it been said the Ion has been delayed slightly . I dunno how much effect that woulda had on the Cobalt . Now that the trucks are done , GM fast tracked the RWD chassis for the Camaro and couple other vehicles . Save for the new trucks/suv's its the top priorty at GM right now . 08 Mailbu even got delayed .

North American International Auto Show is being anticipated as one of the best yet. Can't wait to go! Supposedly, GM will be revealing numerous rear-wheel drive cars based on the Zeta 2.0 platform, including a new Camaro.

Well , GM just released the info on the Solstice GXP for the LA autoshow . The engine in the Soltice GXP is a Turbocharged 2.0L with direct injection . Hopefully this will be the successor to the Supercharged version , and seeing as how the base price of GXP Solstice will prolly be less than that of a fully loaded SS , saying the engine would be to costly for the SS is a moot arguement .
