ya...2008 2.4 sport now that sounds more like it... but i would verify the engine in person...cause if it is a 2.4 then y the lt badging, and if it is a 2.2, then y the increased price...not adding up somewhere

im kinda pissed now lol, i bought my 08 LT before they started doing crazy rebates around here.... i could have got the sport, right now they have $3000 cash back and 0% for 60months and i get GMS so i could get a sport for like $15-16 range, i paid upper 14s for my car before all this, **** if i would have waited i could have got a sport for almost the same price, btw i have the special edition which comes with the rally stripes =]

The 8th character is the engine code.
2.2 is F
2.4 is B

$339 x 72 months = $24,408. That's a LOT for ANY Cobalt.

Sounds to me like they are charging you full MSRP. If they won't go down on the price any, I'd walk away. You can get a better deal on a Cobalt then that.

If you want to do a 70+ month loan, plan on keeping the car until it's paid off. You'll basically be upside down until it's paid off - you'll lose a big chunk of money ever trying to trade it. Is this the car you want to spend the next 6 and a half years in?

quick question...maybe hes confused about the 2.2 vs the 2.4?? have you actually VERIFIED it has the 2.4?? 2 easy ways to check...look on the white emissions sticker under the hood...on these cars its likely to be on the underside of the hood...it should say 2.4 liters on it somewhere....or remove the oil cap and pull off the big plastic cover...does the valve cover say ECOTEC and then VVT or just ECOTEC??? if it says VVT its a 2.4 if not its a 2.2....pics would help as well...either way ur getting ripped tho IMO
