cause they didn't do it right. it should've gotten the JSL internals with the LNF turbo and they would've had a sti contender for half the price. especially with the release of the new "egg sti" putting the s/c on the 2.0 was just a dumb move all around. they intentially limited the HP cause the tranny can't really handle it and that's retarded to do that in a "performance car" the 2.4 should be the boosted car, and should've been the SS/SC to begin with, the 2.2 should've been the SS/NA and the 2.0 should've been the LS/LT. it just makes more sense.

i figured they would drop the 2.2 before the 2.4 and i'm glad im getting the 08 tc w/ ultra silver metallic. i love that color. that hummer in the link looks a little too light for me. as for the bluetooth i would never use it and i have a feeling the new display will be disappointing. i dont watch the gauges anyway.
what you said makes sense. i thought the 2.4 was gona be the future for chevys 4 bangers but apparently they are up to something again. with the new body styling for the cobalt just a few years away i wouldn't be surprised if they do away with ecotecs all together.

Yup, these things happen.. same with the cavalier. They went from the 2.8 V6 to a 3.1 V6 and eventually to a 4 banger and then the ECOTEC.. Also did minor changes along the way.
