Mine took roughly 12hours of labor, and that was making it nice and neat. You can do a quick and dirty job in 8-10hrs. Take it to a shop that doesn't know LSJ or LE5, then you could see a 15hr build. $1000-$1200 would not be unreasonable to pay for labor if you had a shop do everything from removal of parts to install of parts.

yeah...I remember seeing something in super street where they lsj-ed an aveo which I think has a 2.2. [nix that...it's a 1.6]. But I mean...can you run stock boost on the 2.2 components safely? Who the **** knows.

yea i mean i just looked into it last night, and to me its not worth it. From what I saw its the GM supercharger for the cavalier. If your gonna do that, in my opinion, might as well just trade car in and get the T/C or S/C. Gonna cost about 5 grand to turbo it anyway. And then your still stuck with the LT shifter, and clutch. And you dont have a boost gauge. And your speed ometer only goes to 120 still. So you have to upgrade everything anyways. Gonna wind up costing way more then its worth, and a whole lotta time to make your car look like a S/C or T/C Cobalt, where everything I mentioned comes stock.

The M62 > M45

For me, and additional 125whp on tap for 2 grand...it was worth it.
