Just got a new battery. Alternator and starter were checked as well. The battery light is still on.
Mechanic gave me the receipt showing that all parts are in good condition. Car runs very well
and he says not to worry about the light. Can I disconnect it. Will have the car only a few more
months (November) and then selling it. It is a 2010 Cobalt I really like and no mechanical issues
other than the light. Am 76 and just getting more nervous driving. Probably due to living in
Dallas. I'll take cabs now. Have been offered $1800 for it, but want to wait till I move.
