1st Trophy FMF AC
Hey everyone,
Okay well just wanted to recap the show i was at this weekend in case anyone was wondering.
I attended Funk Master Flex custom car and bike show on Sept 9 in Atlantic City NY.
After finishing the car at 330 on Saturday morning we left and got there at roll in at 7 AM.
I must say, the show was pretty unorganized but nonetheless there were some of the hottest cars i have ever seen...and i have been to a lot of shows. i got one hell of a good show spot as well. People were taking pics all day by the car.
I was placed in 3 catagories
Best Female
GM
and Best Paint.
They allowed 1 trophy per person. I wound up getting best paint beating out about 200 cars.
I think it was pretty good since it was a specialty award and i was competeing against every car on the field. I would have placed 2nd GM...First place went to a 2000 Deuces Wild 2 corvette that wins best of shows all the time.
But from what the judges had explained....the best ofs are better then the class awards because you compete against more people and winning is that much harder.
Anyway, everyone really loved the car. i spent all day cleaning her, she looked great. i will get some pics up real soon. Just have to upload them to a site first.

im working on it..ive been searching for online coverage as well...nothing yet 
oh and funny thing....i got asked about 500 times what kind of car it was...when they heard chevy they were like holy crap...LOL
although i did get called a mustang...and a civic (bleh) several times.

We know that all too well... CONGRATS!!!!!! I knew there was no way you guys were walking outta there empty handed... I"ll hopefully be up there after work.,. can't wait to hear that beast run...

CONGRATS GIRL...way to represent for us Balts. I even get that now "what kinda car is that" and I didn't even really do anything custom to it yet, now you're really confusing people. Car looks good from what I've seen on the site, can't wait to see the pics.
I'm sure many more will follow ....
