I have my buddy has an auto 2.2 and I have the manual 2.4... stock vs. stock it's not that interesting. He got a lot more mods than I did right off the bat though, and he started creeping up on me until I got my exhaust and intake finished up, and now I don't think it'd be a close race again.

If you take two 5 speeds, the 2.4 is definitly going to beat the 2.2 by a significant margin.....although, not an ass kicking. 148hp vs. 173 is quite a difference.

We went 2.4L auto versus 2.2L manual. Still wasn't interesting.

I would never sell the 2.2 short, but I love the 2.0s. Considering the 2.2s have a tune that is almost done, a nice turbo would be a sweet upgrade.
