Do not waste your time with a 2.5" downpipe on the LSJ. Get a 3" or 2.75" downpipe. The stock downpipe is 2.785" o.d. for the most part. A 2.5" downpipe will become a major restriction down the line.

If youre stuck on getting a 2.5" downpipe .... Cobalt addiction sells them.

 

well the problem is that i purchased 2.5 in headers and exhaust. and the vender didnt have a 2.5 in dp with a cat but a catless one. so i told them i wanted my refund for buying a cat or send me another one. i wouldnt even care but the state of virginia requires a catalayic converter to pass safety inspections so i need one quick

 

so does texas but there are ways around this

you can get a tune and have them tune out the o2 sensor that is after your cat. when you go in for inspection they plug your car in to see if you pass emissions so as long as the computer says ok, they will say ok.
