2 questions.

I have two questions and I figured I'd post um here.

1: I want to get a decent intake for my 2.2L Cobalt with an automatic transition. I'm looking for something midrange in price that will help produce a nice growl. How hard is it to install one of there things, I've never done anything like that before but I'm willing to give it a shot.

2: This one is a little more... embarrassing. Me and my gal pal got a little "active" in the passenger seat and we ended up leaving a pretty noticeable stain. My car has the black and gray sport cloth seats, anyone know a good way to clean up said mess?

Thanks for any and all advice!

An intake is a very easy install. You should have no reservations about doing it.

For #2 you are on your own.

as far as the mess, i would consider becoming a premium and getting some pointers from the heavy hitters... if she swallowed like she was supposed to, there would be no mess...

as far as the intake, it's a piece of cake to install, nd there's plenty of members in jersey that would help you out, depending on where you are

ROFLMAO!!!!!!! OMG, thats horrible/great/somewhat true!

I would recommend eitehr Injen or GMPP. Everyone has nothing but great things to say about it. The GMPP keeps your warranty though.

Well I guess I'll go with the GMPP intake because it's a brand new car and I would like to keep my 5 year warranty :P

No suggestions on cleaning my seat tho?

any intake will keep your warranty... the only thing that would not be covered by GM is the intake, which will be covered by whoever you buy it from

Thing is though, dealerships will hassel you and try to void your warranty. Though they can only void it if the problem is caused by the intake, other than the GMPP.

if your concerned about the warrenty just keep the stock airbox and put that back in if you have to take in your car

Right however some dealerships will hassle you for having a intake. Depends on if you want to battle it out with them or just get the GMPP one they have to cover no questions asked.

save the money, get an ebay intake kit and slap a decent filter on it.
