200,000 mile cobalt....
Ur probably right but im surprised this thread isnt more popular. As the miles add up, i bet it will grab attention like the Atlantic will the next month. hurricane season has woken up.
i think you were the first balt to 200 period, not just the first ss. there were a few guys with more mileage than i had in the thread we had about it. dunno if they still have the cars or are still around.
build date is on your drivers door jam sticker. at least i get to say the oldest balt :P. my trip to FL next week and to utah this spring will catch me up. i just need to come down to SA and steal your keys for a year or so to catch up

You should not say stock brakes if you've done pads/rotors :P
And you wait till your tank is almost empty to refill? Everyone always saysthe opposite is better for the life of the fuel pump.

ive also heard that running it empty keeps particles n junk from building up. Whichever is true we may never know but lets face the facts here....62 months, 201k miles n my fuel pump has no issues
thats a good thought. get the 400-500 damaging particles out every gas tank instead of never letting it get below 1/4 and then oen day not being able to find a gas station and collecting 500,000 all at once. im at 145k and going to florida tomorrow. little bit of catch up time. but then im parkin it for 4 days so its really gonna p ut me back.
The gas in your fuel tank cools down your fuel pump. Less gas means your pump is always running hotter.
320k is impressive. But since it's 90% highway drivin, i'd say about equal to a regularly drivin car that has around 200k.

'Don't forget to change your oil every 3k miles, no matter what your driving conditions are, what your driving style is, and especially no matter how much more advanced engine and oil technology is 50 years from now.'

Many kudos to the OP for showing that a car simply maintained to factory guidelines and not abused can last well into the 6 figures. The countdown to 300k has begun!
my driving isnt all highway. its stop n go in the city limits of san antonio. 200k is impressive. thats a tough way to get miles. puts alotta strain on my car
hell my road trip to florida was just like a normal day for you then. made it here in a shade over 10 hours. the weather was absolutely awful and i am NOT driving through conroe on the way back. 35mph with a stop light every 200ft. that was bs.
road trip to dallas tomorrow. about 4 hrs there. 4 hours back. tomorrow will be a high mileage day. gonna go watch my dolphins kick some cowboys butt,...hopefully. lol.
FYI, guys i ran outta gas for first time ever today. forgot i was low on fuel..ran out about 1/16th mile from the gas station LOL. between and good citizen and a police officer...I got a ride to and from station cuz pushing my car up hill wasnt quite working out lmao
