I had my camera in the car today when I was at the dealer and they had a Arrival and Lazer blue Cobalt sitting side by side . This should end all the arguements over their similarities . There is absolutely no similarity at all .

nice shot. We have some pics of my laser blue parked next to two arrival blues at the Howell/Brighton meet the other week, but I think you got the best pic there. You got a really good angle that shows both the blue and purple on the laser, and the different blue on the arrval. Its kinda hard to get the laser blue to really show it's purple with a camera.

 

Pic doesnt do arrival blue justice. Nice shot though... Im not sure which one I prefer... am leaning towards the laser though !

 

I agree and it makes the laser look more purple than ever.

 

Don't base your decisions off of that picture; that's not what arrival blue looks like (I'm not insulting the photographer, just saying that NO picture can really capture the differences between these colors)

 

You can see in the picture that the laser blue can tend to appear purple in different light. But I think it looks better than the Arrival Blue.

 

yeah thats kinda how my truck is its blue but can look purple kind of a cool color but im def getting mine in orange

 

Kinda hard to compare the colors on 4 doors. for some reason the 4 doors remind of metros. no offense to anyone who has a 4door

I have seen both in person. While the Laser Blue has grown on me, I still prefer the Arrival Blue on the Cobalt. I only wish that I had ordered my car sooner so I could have ordered it with Arrival. But, I am happy I choose Black over Laser Blue.

 

We just purchased a 2005 Chevy Malibu for my wife in the Lazer Blue.....she loves the color.

Looks nice next to my red Cobalt.

 

I agree. Each person has their monitors tuned into different color preferences. Not to mention the subtle nuances that a camera just can't capture.

I love my Arrival Blue. The only thing I would change is order the G85.

Thank GOD I got Arrival, otherwise I would not own a blue Cobalt. I parked my car next to a Laser Blue LT coupe the other day and there is just no comparison for me, I do not like the Laser. When I see it by itself, it's...eh. I've never been a fan of Laser blue, but I'm even less so when I see it next to Arrival. As usual GM got rid of one of their better car colors.

 

^^^^ I totaly agree, thank god I got the Arrival Blue.
the colour change was the driving force in my decision. it Just makes my SS/SC more rare.

the only thing is, is this new method that they use to paint the cars is supposed to be stronger, and provide a more briliant Shine. unfortunatly i haven't had the chance to compare in person yet

ditto. Laser reminds me of the blue they had on Mazda 3 sedans last year---it was purplr---but they called it blue

 

My Monte had that too. They had my color (superior blue metallic) which is a dark metallic blue, then also had lazer blue. I was never too fond of the lazer blue. The Monte actually had that with a red too I think. One was really "lazery" haha!
