I would say... at 32 miles? It was a test drive.

Do it now and feel the change around the 4000-5000 mile marker. I didn't really have a wheelhop issue untill then.. but it is like a different beast. A definit back in your seat difference in performance. I honestly thought that people were kidding untill I felt it.

In the artice, it says to change the oil to regular instead of synthetic. Did anybody do this? Do you think I should do that because isnt our engine made for synthetic oil or sumthin like that?

Out of the box it is ready for playing. However I waited until my first oil change. (lies) I'm just paranoid and old fashion. GM states that the engines are tested and ready to run right from factory.

Stay full synthetic man, regular oil is a little bit thicker and your engine it not made to run on it. Its almost like putting fully synthetic into a older car that already has over 80k miles. It is not good to because the engine is used to pushing just a hair harder on regular oil. Changing to synthetic creates problems for most people if thier engine was run on regular oil for the duration of the engines life.

I don't know if it's the 87 to 89 in 2.2L, but it seems to be a bit more responsive now that I cracked the 10,000K mark this weekend. Maybe it's just me.

But as for the breaking in of the body, it's much comfier to go over speed bumps than it was when I first got the car, I was actually getting kind of worried about how horribly it did take speed bumps at first, now I just breeze over them and the suspension keeps right up.
