I normally get between 22-26 mpg, per tank in my car(I don't drive like a grandma either). I also reset the meter ever fill-up.
If I'm really frugal with my driving then I can easly get 28+ mpg while doing 80% city 20% highway. If driven hard, these cars are very good at sucking down gas, which is good for power, if driven light these cars are very good for gas mileage. I love my car's economy.

absolutely - I can get 25 MPG or 15MPG on a tank. it all depends on my right foot action!

34 MPG if I baby it and 26 if I get into it quite a few times. It has 700 miles on it now so we will see if it gets better/worse. I pay $600.00 a year for insurance with a $500 deductable but I have my wifes 04 Trailblazer and our homeowners with them too. Erie seems to be a little costly for me because MET insurance can give me a $200 break on what I'm paying with Erie. We are paying $1200/yr for both vehicles. But them I'm 33, married and have two kids with no tickets or accidents and having homeowners with the same company helps too. Sorry for the long post.
I had the DIC up to 99.9 for a few miles too HAHA coasting down a hill and reset the thing. Does anyone know if it includes time in its calculations? What I'm saying is if you are sitting still and have the engine running will it use your average speed and all that junk in the calculation too? I wish they would have that info in there too (owners manual) so that I could verify by hand what the thing is calculating. Because it isn't just calculating (miles driven) / (gallons used) if it is the computer is pretty smart then. I know, I know a stupid engineeer posting here, so you guys can bitch at me.

Idling *will* decrease your milage on the display...when I picked up mine, it had 3 miles on it and it read 4 mpg. It had spent some time sitting there.
But at least it didn't have any hard-ass test drive miles on it.

im currently getting around 26mpg. mostly highway miles but i have a tendency to get in around the city. so i dont think its too bad. especially compared to the old v8 i was driving before. right now i pay $125/month for full coverage with $500 deductible. 20 years old, no record, own policy.
