So is it just me or are there a lot of these messed up stories? Well here is mine... I have my car dropped off at the dealership Tuesday night to get zxylon *spelling*, lojack, and the windows etched. They send my mom over to enterprise and get her a rental car. All is well so far.... Yeah I said SO FAR! well I call today around 1 and ask them if the car is going to be ready. They tell me "were just waiting on lojack and then itll be ready to go. Is ur number --- " i say yes and then they tell me "okay well we will call u when its done" im fine with that..... well they never call my work phone like theyre suppose to.... instead they call my wife and let her know.... and she cant get a hold of me til after i get off work, so i dont find out til 530 that the car is done.... well i live an hour from the dealer..... so i cant make it to them by 6 and i sure as hell can make it to the rental car by 6, so i end up having to keep the rental until tomorrow... and they want me to pay for the extra day on the rental.... i dont think i should have to beings they didnt call me... they called my wife.... .... URG at the dealership

 

so you wanted the dealership to call you at work...but instead they called your wife....so how come your wife couldnt call you at work?

 

they were suppose to call my bosses phone... i cant exactly have my wife do that.... it was like a one time thing with the boss....

 

Um, what kind of job do you work at? Sounds like a bunch of dicks that you work for...maybe the dealership did try to call that number, but your boss was on the phone or something?

Honestly, I don't think its the dealerships fault. At least they did call someone. I mean, what if your wife had like an emergency? Is she allowed to call work then?

 

I work at a gas company.... kind alike construction... i had his phone for most of the day.... regardless im not paying for it.... they should have called me.... not my wife.... I dont even know how thye got that #.... maybe from when we bought the car....

 

True...I wouldn't pay for it either if you gave them a number, and they didn't call it.

 

Well I get the car back today and all the work has been done to it and they updated the pcm, so i should have no more idle problems.... but now im taking the car back to the dealer saturday because of scratches on the car that werent there when i took the car in. Ive got a scratch on my front bumper above the license plate that is worse then a "key" mark... and then there are some scratches on the driver side door... im so pissed.... I hate the service dept....
