first oil change

first oil change

just wondering which brand you all think is best for oil and what kinda filter to use. i was told royal purple is best for oil, and also what kind of viscosity do i use??

I would recommend the oil that came with your car, Mobil 1 5W30.

You can use the AC Delco filter; I also like the Purolator Pure One filter which I've been buying because I haven't seen the AC Delco in stores yet.

I agree with the first part...my oil cap says mobil1 5w30syn so that is what goes in. as far as the filter im getting mine done at the dealer for the first couple so its an ac delco or whatever they use.

purolator is a good filter also. I wish K&N made a filter for us. maybe I should email them...

I always have my first oil change done at the dealer... just incase anything bad shows up... also, you'll probably have some other warranty issues pop up (as we all have) and want to take it in anyways... might as well get it done while you are there.

After the 1st one... I'll probably do them myself.

yeah im with the royal purple from the research ive done, apparently its one of the best synthetic oils that exists. anyone else have an opinion on this?
