Another reason to get a Gmmp catback

I went hard off a light yesterday, but I did not go over the speed limit, anyways when I got to the Tim hortons I noticed a black crown vic pull in behind me.Well the cop gets out and says that I caught his attention with my exaust and when he went to check it out he says:Oh this is stock! long story short with that bowtie on the tip it just might save you a ticket

Lucky bastards, around here and TO there's some thing called the street racing inititive that allows cops to pull you over for anything they think isnt stock. Before they might hav ebeen able to but they wouldn't nail ya for anything unless you were a dick about it.

We have no db system in b.c. but they will pull you over just to use it as a reason to check you out, they barely give tickets on this, there are so many cars running around with annoyingly loud fart cans and they dont get to many problems but my bud and his rx-7 got a 100.00 ticket last week for being to loud

It's only a matter of time before it happens here in Florida too. We have a lot of accidents caused by street racers.

So what's the deal, you can get ticketed for a non-stock exhaust? You're not allowed to mod your cars out there?!

Vancouver sport compact scene is one of the biggest, you can happily mod away out here, its just that some municipalities might be stricter than others when it comes to noise. My bud was going down a residential area at 2;00am with a fucked downpipe on his rx-7 when he got ticketed

I was thinking more about the piggly wiggly who followed you to Tims to hassle you for your exhaust, and then backed off as soon as he thought it was stock. Sounds more like he was just trying to give you a hard time for having a hot car. Course he was probably going there anyways to detain a dozen Crullers for questioning...

let them get busted for all i care.

it's odd, when i was in HS, we'd all go out to the middle of no where, run our cars and be done with it. it was relaxed, fun, and as safe as that is possible... now idiots are opening up NO^2 injected cars at rush hour... WTF
