Angry any competent service shops in my area????

Hello.,

I have a 06 Cobalt SS/SC Stage 2.

I have gone to 2 GM shops now and they have no clue what a stage 2 kit even is..

I cannot believe the incompetance (sp?) of these GM service shops

I live in Morgan Hill California. 95037 .

does anyone know of a place I can take my car that actually has experts ? like someone who knows what a GM stage 2 kit is ? I had my wife bring my car to a new shop this morning for an oil change and to inspect my axles because they click everytime I go into reverse. and 4 times now my car has shut down while driving. security light flashes on the dash- fuel gauge drops to zero and it feels like the fuel pump shuts down. so I needed that looked at.

I called the guy just now to make sure he does not mess with my nitrogen filled tires and to see if he understands wht I need done. he asked me what a stage 2 kit is ??? jesus.

is there any tuner shops around me ? I don't even know the search terms to find one.

I love the car but I am starting to feel like I should have gone with a Evo or other import as I hear awesome things about their OEM shops..

I appreciate any and all advice.

David

I had my axles replaced a few months ago because they were clicking. It went away after they changed them but now the clicking is back. Just so long as the dealership has a J-tool to remove the pulley then even the most retarded oil change mechanic can do a stage 2 install.

The problem is I am really sick of having retared ass people even touch my car. I would love to bring it to a shop and have a tech know how to work on it.

I am having the same problem. anyone care to start a tuner shop thread to include addresses, phone numbers and websites. I am totally burned out on looking for a shop here in San Joaquin Valley area of California. Found a lot of places that tune foreign cars.
