a paint mask at the least when you paint...if not a whole suite, unless you want all them VOC's from the paint in your system lol....tack cloths for in between coats, stuff for wet sanding, buffer, compounds, filters, mixing cups...all kinds of stuff lol

i would mix it yourself....its not that hard to mix it, the mixing cups usually have all the ratios and lines to fill to....and find something you can spray to check your pattern also...

you need alot of patience. my advice is to find something you can paint that doesnt have alot of metallic in at first. just so you can get the basics down. overlap your pattern by half. if you want the metallic to really stand out, do thin coats. if you want light metallic do heavy coats. make sure your air supply has a mater seperator. or even one that is hooked to the regulator on your gun. buy 2 different guns one for primer and one for paint/clear. paint and clear gun get a smaller tip.

Buy cheap generic base/clear to start, get some test panels and play around a lil. You can try diff amounts of reducer, diff air pressure, spray width etc... Prolly the best way IMO!

well i have a couple friends who said to practice on their rims..
i've painted with cans and theyve came out very nice. just took my time and did alot of preparing and then painting.
but i know i could learn pretty fast..
I also heard that i should buy the paint thats already mixed together. Is that a good way to start??
and then just have primer, and clear?
