From the research I did when I bought my radar detector Whistlers in general arn't that good of a detector. Mainly they just give a lot of false alarms. With that being said, that looks like a really cool setup, and has some deffinate stealth potention. Get a 3 pod A pillar setup, slap a boost (assuming SS/SC), A/F, and radar detector in there lol.

if you want a really good one look into Passport 8500 x50 or if you have to cash the new 9500i <---that is a kick ass detector!!

*Sigh* I knew this debate would get started.

I'll change my previouse statement to "I would get a 9500i, or a V1 would be good too".

Hopefully that will stop the Escort/Valentine debate hehe.

ehhh... yes and no, the 9500i is the newest model if you have the $ to drop on it yes it is. But if your on a budget i would go with the 8500 x50

that would be nice if you lived in a state where detectors are illegal... great concealement. I doubt any cop would think to check an a-pillar gauge.
