Arrow Armrest Question?

I have a quick question, can we put an armrest in a balt with a manual transmission? It says for automatics only, but I dont see why that would matter. Does it get in the way of shifting? I have seen pictures of other members balts with the armrest in their manual tranny cars. If any of you have one installed on your manual trans cobalt's, let me know if their is any problems with it getting in the way. Thanks guys.

Found this pic, granted it is a sedan, but still. Looks like a GM photo with a manual tranny with an armrest...

I test drove a cobalt with an armrest. It didnt get in the way of the shifter that much, but did cover the e-brake more than I wanted.

Are you asking how to install one? Or asking if it just gets in the way?

It doesnt get in the way as much. But to some people it does.

works fine, gets in teh way of nothing if your ebrake cable is tightened. from 5 clicks down to 2 for it to hold the car

I think I got installing it down, It came with instructions, just debating on selling it or installing it.

How do you do that? That would help a lot.

I think you would have to go under the car and tighten it.

You can donate it to the victoryss charity car. Yeah it will fit. There are threads about it out there from a long time ago on this subject. Don't remember where but searched a long time ago.

Mine came stock when I bought the car. Does not interfere with shifting at all. It actually makes it more comfortable. It does interfere with the ebrake however. You need to raise the armrest to apply the ebrake

I have one installed since practically day one. No troubles, it folds up and out of the way to use the ebrake.

I have a OEM JDM one in my Civic I added on as well, like it a lot. I'm sure I'll like this too.
