Auxiliary IPod plug in

Hey, i just baught my new 06 Cobalt SSSC and it doesn't have an AUX plug in like my previous 07 Cobalt LT had. Am I flat out of luck in this department, or is there a stock radio available that i can switch out that way i dont loose any of the buttons that come standard on the current radio installed, or an addapter/something im not thinking of.

What ever i do, I dont want it to look like crap but rigging it and drilling holes in things to make something work.

Tap into the stock XM with a 3 wire Aux Cable.

did this mod to my G/F's car, works perfectly, I didn't splice the wires though, I just chopped the XM harness in half and soldered the aux with shrink tubing to it, sounds just like a real aux in.

I'll bump this... I've got no XM radio and would prefer to avoid replacing the dash stero and having to go without steering wheel controls. Anyone successfully modded this another way?

That's been covered too. No XM, Out of luck, switch to an aftermarket headunit. I recommend Pioneer.

I have Seen Aux that splices up to the FM input on stereos with a switch to go back and forth between FM and AUX

If you dont have an 07plus there is no factory options for you. The GM pal kit only works on 07+ and the headunits with AUX only work on 07+
