AWD cobalt???
alright guys....i gotta share this crazy story with you guys.
so i haven't talked to this guy in like 5 years. so he adds me on FB the other day and almost immidiately after i accepted his friend request he starts sending me messages about his cobalt because he noticed my profile pic was my ss.
so this is what he decides to tell me....he says he has a 2.2l cobalt that he twin charged. and that he has changed it to AWD. he says he got a transmission from a WRX and that it mounted right up. He also claims that it has 695 HP at the flywheel.
he did all of this in a very small town in indiana that has no tuner support what so ever. when i asked him what he was tuned with, i mentioned trifecta and hp tuners and he said whats that? he claims he has dyno sheets to prove it but when i asked for them he never sent me anything. so i asked for pics of the car and he said it was getting body work and didn't have pics.
this guy is a real tool. last time i had seen him he had a cavilier that he said he was going to turbo and it was a piece of ****. he had a homemade hood scoop with hood pins in the hood and it looked like it was put together with plado.
anyway, i just had to share this story with you guys because this guy is a real dumb ass. he can't be making more than 10-12 bucks an hour where he is working either so i have no idea where he would've got the funds to do anything like this. the shop he supposedly got it all done at has a bunch of ******* people working at it too. they are all shade tree mechanics or "parts changers" if you wanna say that.
