Back with a TC

I'm back! Whether any one is still around that remembers me from the Ohio crew. I traded my 07 LS for a BMW back in 09 and just bounced around with vehicles. I recently had some issues with cars and got fed up yesterday and found a 2010 SS/TC two hours from me. Went to look at it and decided to buy it. Not too happy with some of the mods done to it, including the Hurst shifter that has no reverse lock out and insane amount of slop which makes 5th gear a chore to find. Dealer is willing to take care of these unnoticed issues, but we also picked up an extended warranty with it. I enjoy being back in the seat and love this thing. So now I'm back, I hope the community has remained just as awesome as before.

Thanks, and hopefully be around a while longer this time. At the moment now, I see I will be. Discovered some potential tune issues or boost leak. The car had a Stage 1 kit put on it 5 years ago and appears to have a ZZP lower charge pipe as with some various other items. Tomorrow morning I will be checking the charge pipe for leaks. AFRs between 13.6-14 at WOT with good fuel pressure, yeah I will be staying off boost till things are figured out.

It wasn't terribly big when I was around first, but the Ohio meets were some of the biggest. It was amazing seeing how many guys came out and how many other cars would show up.

Welcome Buddy!

We will get your tune and issues figured out so you can enjoy the car. A well cared for LNF will be reliable and have plenty of umph to surprise some v8's

The color definitely is nice. I didn't like red much before, but I chose a paint for a buddy's car I painted and it was a red found on BMWs. Ever since, certain shades of red I really like.

But I have ran into some issues with the car, some of which the dealer said they would take care of. Now they say I bought it knowing the problems and say it is all on me. Probably be contacting the BBB now since they aren't willing to back up a problem they knew of.

On the better side, a friend did some digging and found this car has quite a bit done to it that isn't seen. It has a LDK bottom end, ported and polished head, ZZP stage 1 cams, neutral balance shafts, and South Bend stage 3 clutch (not sure which, but feels like a puck). So there is some good going for it. Just need the tune to make it come alive!

Now this is a good one. Hurst shifters suck! And so does this fix someone did.

I'm the friend lol.

The car was built well, and then sold to someone who seems to have abused it some.

Some? I'm afraid of anything else I can't see! I repaired headlight wiring properly, soldered the tmap connectors, cleaned maf, traced wires added and removed all and repaired the wires that were tapped. I do have a shifter housing on order with the stock shift knob and a BPS shifter. I was going to get OTTP but the use of the stock knob with the BPS was the kicker. Still trying to figure out what tires and brakes I want, and of course the tune is really hanging on me.

I just tuned a HHR SS this weekend; night and day. The mechanic and the owner were both shocked!

Get down hereeeeeee lol
