Just a random thread, but....am I the only one that loves to see LS and LT Cobalts with our SS wing?! I mean, its one thing if they get the SS body kit and lips but having the base look with our massive wing?! Any thoughts? Discuss

 

It looks stupid without the SS ground effects.

 

i jus love how people think theyre so cool with the bigger spoiler.....i hav an ss and took the wing off

 

I would like to take my wing off as well. I more-so miss having visibility out of the rear window more than anything.

There are tons of base models running around here with the SS wing. I have an SS and I only have the low rise . It's even better when they have like no other mods on the car either other than maybe a set of cheap wheels, and the car still looks like a 4x4. I was actually at a stoplight next to a base model with the high wing and I couldn't stop laughing at how ridiculous that must have looked.

There is a yellow LS with the high rise on it, I'm thinking about stealing the wing off it if I find it in an unattended parking lot sometime .

Anyone else think its funny when people think that ss badge on their trunk makes em high and mighty?

I had a SS wing on my 10 LT. I had it put on when i bought the car new.

 

Why don't people that own LT's and LS's just accept the fact that they don't have an SS and keep the high rises to us? I HAD AN LT, and I never had a desire to make my car something it's not. That's why Cobalts get bad names. Because people go around "ricing" them up. I love the LT's, and I have nothing against them or their owners. It's just people try and make their cars into something else when they can just buy a real SS for the price it would cost making one out of a base model. High rises on them look ugly as hell, and gain everything besides respect from most people.

 

Keep your high rise, all I wanted was your supercharger

 

haha i saw a suercharged badge on an lt once....it was hilarious cuz he saw me looking at it and was like "yeah you like my ride?" and i was like yeah almost as much as mine and pointed to my supercharged ss

 

um a spoiler is a spoiler. they dont put the high rise on too think they are an SS they put it on because they like it. Just like some SS came without it put them on or some take it off. its preference and doesnt matter

 

but its a massive wing for racecar!

I don't see the badge thing being bad as long as you're actually supercharged or turbocharged..

I guess I'm not kewl I put the high rise on my 2.4 SS and I don't have the lips..

 

yeah the badges are fine if you actually are but cmon man the high rise spoiler?!
