im still confused on why ls/lt balts are on here....it is cobaltSS.net right? as in a forum for COBALT SS's correct? and yeah it doesnt really show the deep dish in the pics but thats what theyre called.....i mean id so much rather have mine than those cheap ass painted black rims on the ls

haha so all of ur arguments are based on function? cuz were arguing how a highrise looks on a ls/lt.......which has no function cuz no ls/lt is driving fast enough to need that downforce. i was jus putting out what things on my car u could call rice....oh and the shorty antenna doesnt make my radio quality any less, good try though

and let me guess, this is the kid that was arguing on FB about why base models are in the Cobalt SS gang group, and just because i have a LS doesn't mean i haven't helped my fair share of SS owners out in their problems on this site

 

I never said your car was riced out in any way. I just said that I could find things that you've done that other people would rather not.

I agree to the main topic, a high-rise wing looks out of place on a base model.

But I was just making sure you knew that you were being completely hypocritical with your other responses.

to be completely honest, i do not care what other people do to their cars or what other people think of my car....everyone should do what they want to their cars cuz its theirs. I was jus putting out that it looks funny cuz ive seen it alot recently and wanted to see what other users had to say. sorry for any arguments that were unnecessary

 

Personally I thing wingless is ugly as hell, but I don't go around telling all you wingless guys that you're a ricer or stupid or what have you because I have different taste. Ricer was derived from Japanese cars made to look fast that weren't. Wingless or Highrise, idc, it's not like either makes you appear to be faster. I don't really think any of our balts cross over into ricer territory until you throw on a body kit and an unnecessarily loud exhaust, along with some euro lights, mis-matched badges, and then have a stock or base model engine. There is a line to be crossed to enter that wingless category, and I don't think a highrise on any balt is anywhere near it.

 

and thats a valid statement, we all have opinions and i felt like expressing mine. i love the look of the highrise but i went wingless cause i was tired of looking out my rear view and seeing a line blocking my view

 

i like the look of a high rise on a SS but personally i think some of the sexiest cobalts are all wingless like these for example...
