how often does this happen? How many miles do you have on the car?

Is this just revving at idle? or while driving?

For a stock SS/SC it's normal

They run rich stock.

Just have the dealer flash the most recent PCM for your car and it should be fixed

Yes everybody gets it, even when your not on the gas, all GM vehicles have been know to run rich it there stock form, it just keeps things cool and safe! So dont worry about anything its just normal, unless you get a tune to lean it out its going to continue to do it.
