I'm not shy so i'll go first.

engine 1 @ 27k - GM said the engine overspun on my auto....pretty ******* funny you ask me..straight up my fault.
engine 2 @ 82k - fuel pump took a **** under boost and she ran lean...wtf? guess the bottle had it's side effects.

over the years i've seen numerous engines that died either due to freak **** or driver error. i wonder what the real tally is?

These things are pretty damn near impossible to blow up so I'm sure the count is very low.

havent blown one yet luckily. they are damn good motors!

 

How the hell does GM rationalize that you overspun the motor on an auto?

 

i raced with it often but the only mods i had at the time were my injen intake and corsa sport catback. they also told me the ecm had a modified tune.....two years before trifecta started tuning these cars...lol. they replaced it under warranty so i had no problems.
