Just speaking from experience thats all. You can call BS all you want. I could be wrong as to WHY throttle is automatically applied, but regardless of the reason it is still applied in the way I described.

Oh so 10-20 HG is normal? I was wondering this myself actually since i'm new to boosted cars as well, I thought my guage was broken. It only creeps into maybe 5-10 psi if I really punch it. So this is normal?

Just to correct the guy you quoted, the SC does not make any vacuum. The engine creates vacuum. Now to answer your question. 10-20 HG is perfectly normal at idle or when no accelerating. Boost in the SS/SC should hit a max of 12.5 PSI at full throttle and max RPM.

Don't worry X1zero, the gauge is somewhat of a novelty anyway. If you werent creating any boost you would know it. If you spend a lot of time looking at it, you'll probably find yourself in the ditch.
