Build Time for Cobalt SS/Sc

Hey do you guys actually no how long it does take to build a Cobalt SS/Sc , if you have a rough estimation thats cool to

Typically GM takes around 35 hours to build a vehicle. That means that there are no 'Monday' cars, they are on the line for at least part of each day of a work week. I do not think there would be any reason that a CSS would take any more or less time than that average.

^^^however, from what I have heard they are seriously backlogged on CSS orders right now, so don't get too excited.

oh i know, i ordered mine 2 weeks ago still havent heard of a build date/ shipping date.

Well when I ordered my SS 2.4 the sales guy told me it would be 6-8 weeks but he was wrong b/c I got the car in 4 weeks......For your SS S/C I think you wouldn't have to wait more then 8 weeks.

They told me 6-8 for my SS 2.4 as well......it came in 2 weeks.....ordered nov 14th, left the factory the day after thanksgiving, and arrived at the dealer nov 29th. It beat it's MSO to the dealer by a week!

I am a GM employee I ordered mine 11/04/05 and recived it 12/14/05. no to bad my boss said it would me 4 months at least. I must have got lucky!!!!! I even ordered the new Laser Blue Met. Love this color

Just cause your dealer put in an order in no way means that they will/can actually get your order filled. They might not have the allocation...
