hey guys i'm moving on up in life i got arrid of my dodge avenger & buying a cobalt ss/sc 2nite! i'm thinking about gettin black with black/blue interior! i seen a yellow 1 with the black & yellow interior this past weekend @ the auto show but i think the interior would get dirty to quick... so what are some are some of the colors u guys are running??? & what are some of the 1st upgrades i can do 2 the car to make it a little bit quicker without voiding the warrenty??

modding your car doesn't void the warranty right when they're bolted on, it's only when/if the dealer determines the problems are caused by those mods that the warranty is void. a lot of dealers will immediately assume it's void once the car is modded, but the problem has to be a direct result of the modification. for example, if your front bumper falls off and you've put an exhaust on your car (obviously not related), you're still covered.

i had a dealer try to tell me that a front suspension clunking noise was caused by the exhaust i put on it--idiots.

 

i have blue with black and blue interior. love it, wanted black with blackand red interior but they did not have it. living in NM i am glad i did not trying to keep a black car clean out here is hell. good luck with the new buy.
oh yeah drop in filter $20 is the first cheap and easy thing to do and makes that supercharger whine.

 

if your going black ..I would recomend red inserts ...

2nd best black/black tied with black/yellow

then black blue

 

Ive got a silver ss/sc and am running a black on black interior. My friend has got a red and black interior, and says he likes mine better. I like both dual coloring and straight black, so its all a matter of preference. Heh, good to see u liked the SS/SC at the Buffalo Niagara convention center. I liked it too, much better then that retarded looking blue focus ( ZX4 ) with the SS wanna be appearence. Everything from the spoiler to the Perelli tires (as if the focus needs it, lolz). What the hell is FORD thinking?

 

Love my yellow w/yellow insert's, doesn't get soiled as long as I wash myself up before gettingin after work Just take a slightly damp cloth to wipe it up.

 

i have a black SS/SC with black interior and blue inserts. i personaly dont like red so red inserts was a no go on me and that seems to be way more common.

there was a poll somewhere with someone asking what color inserts people had i think 10 or more responded and 80% of them were black with red inserts i was the only black with blue inserts.

but imo you should get what you like as you will be the one sitting in it everyday and the one that has to see it

 

so i ended up buying 1 2nite! i got the silver ss/sc with black/red interior its so nice i'll post pics friday when i pick it up!
