Those shitty old cars have way more potential then these cars will ever have. They are just 20 years old. Sad part is my 20 year old bone stock gsx without even a tune up and bald tires went a tenth fast in the 1/4 then my 05 ss/sc with bolt ons and a tune and 245/40's. not trying to compare the cars just pointing out give respect to the real sport compact cars (not that the cobalt isnt, just not quite on the same level)

This is horrible. I walked up to the pitt and saw his bumper on the ground and was like "oh ok, he must be adjusting something" then I saw that it was completely thrashed, then I slowly walked over to the car and saw this.

It made me sad

But all that matters is that David is ok! The car kept him safe, for the most part.

not to mention the aftermarket is hella cheap, and the scene still goes strong.

a gsx with a similar suspension setup would anihilate these cars.

his only advantage over one would be if it were stock even then it would put up a fight.

not starting an argument just saying

No, but that "old ass eclipse" doesn't come with brembos or top of the line suspension from factory. No denying that the ss/tc is a better overall platform. Nicer from the interior, out. But like I stated above, there is more aftermarket, and it is way cheaper and can be made way more daily driven fast. That's really the only point i have.

It is a good warning to people though. A big rear sway bar can bite you if you mess up even an experienced driver.
