Bye-bye cobalt?
I don't know about in California, but in NC you aren't allowed to work on your car in the junkyard once it's totaled (or at least that's what i was told.) They wouldn't even let me take a "type-s" emblem from my friends corolla.
Wow sorry to see this. Looks like you we taking her to her limits and you can drive pretty well. **** happens. hope you get another car and jump back on the horse again. i didnt read the whole thread, maybe you already said you would.
either way good luck and glad your ok.

im just glad ur ok... i was in a pretty bad wreck as well and my air bags didnt go off and i had t-boned a drunk driver that ran a stop sign...so i know how ya feel
That sucks *****, man. Glad you're OK though. At least your car saved your ass.
As for the air bags... They're designed to go off ONLY with specific requirements. Period. Right angle, right speed, etc etc... As for the T-bone mentioned. Again, specifics. Probably because it wasn't fast enough or because the angle wasn't right. And Onstar, I beilive, uses their own sensors. Otherwise how could they control your car from their remote location?
