as for the cam profile and how far you take em on our cars is that the grind is agrressive on the intake cam and the exaust cam is hardly touched.thus making a header downpipe even more important for breathability

i have a fully built 2.2. I tried to do the cams myself but that ended up bad so i had the car towed to a performance shop and they did the rest of the work.

i have Stage 1 comp cams. I cant really say i gained aything because i also reduced my engine compression. One thing i noticed was that w/ the reduced engine compression i lost HP on the launch but once i get up to about 2.5k rpms it pulls hard as hell.

Well i am hoping to find out how cams will effect the performance of the sc.
Will there be a decrease in boost since the head is breathing better.
I would like to buy cams and get head work if i can decrease boost.
Want to make as much horsepower as i can on the lowest boost.

there shouldnt be a decrease in boost. the cams are a more agresive intake. On my car they let more air in by keeping the intake valves open slightly longer while on the intake stroke. but i lowered my engine compression and the cams i have are addvertised to add power at higher rpms
