my car is getting new taillights anyhow, so im not worried. i just wanted to make sure my car wasnt a loaner or something. i keep getting asked that when i bring it to the dealership for anything.
just on dealerworld
maybe they are asking if you had a loaner (reserved) for while your car was in the shop. my dealership has a few loaners we will give to customers while their car is in for warranty work.

no, it was when my struts were replaced. both struts were completely blown, they were wondering if i had a loaner cuz i guess its really hard to blow both at the same time. they had to pull some strings to get it on my warrenty. lol
they told me that GM wouldnt cover it at first cuz of how blown both were, and i guess they wont cover it if they think its abuse....but they pulled some strings for me and GM covered them.
yea...they were like...uhh your steering column replaced now..took three days for the part and a whole day at the shop. luckly the last thing i had fixed, my car was already at 36k and they just told GM i had 35.9k lol, that dealership is so good to me
at least they took care of it. I've done tons of the colums on the balts for the p/s going out, and for the bump noise........I've been lucky enough to have no problems with my car so far :knocks on wood:
