Personally, I have seen pics of the Recaros, and I think they look pretty bad. I like the seats that come standard with the inserts. So my question is, can you get the limited slip without the recaros? because I want the lsd, but not the recaros. Does someone want the recaros and I will take their regular seats? lol. I am going to ask my dads friend who works for a chevy dealership. Maybe they can special order it. Because in that case I will save myself the 1,500 and get neither. Just deal with wheel spin and stuff. It sucks cause I do go to the track and race, so having them would be big. maybe i will get slicks instead lol jk. so, hopefully on monday i will be able to get the lsd without the ugly seats. prob not though, not gettting my hopes up..

 

You can't order it with LSD but no Recaros. You have a couple options.

(1) Just don't order the package, and have the LSD installed after you get the car. It'll probably end up costing just as much as the package, if not more...

(2) Best option is to get the package, then sell your seats to someone. You could probably sell the Recaros to someone for a couple hundred bucks + their seats. Seats are easy to swap, done in a few minutes, and boom, you have the stock steats, LSD, plus a couple hundred bucks in your pocket.

 

yea, i thought about the second option. but is the bolting pattern or anything like that different? i know nothing about seats, bolts anything. cause if its a simple, unscrew seat, then screw seat in, cool...so, depends on if everything is the same...bolt pattern, railings, everything...but i def would sell them for some regular ones...

 

When getting LSD and the Recaro's do you still have the option of keeping the inserts on the door panels? or does the recaro interior only come with black/black door panels?

 

I saw someone have the G85 package, red car, and the door sills were black. i think the seats are not as nice looking as the stock ones with the inserts. I think the cloth isnt as cool as the leather, and the "jersey" type material that goes over the cloth is odd. I just want the damn LSD. How much would one of those be aftermarket..installed and everything..petty expensive i think.. i heard each of those seats is like $1,000... if you dont want the seats, sell them on Ebay, and buy urself raacing seats online, ones you like...

 

You can only get the black door panels.

 

The seats are well worth it, Recaros are used in many high performance cars and well liked. The "jersey" like material is to prevent you from sliding around in your seat like you would on leather at high speeds.

 

recaros look so nice though....
