Canadian International Autoshow (Toronto)

I went tonight, but sorry I didn't take a camera.
There were several Cobalts there (coupes and sedans) in a few colors.
However there were no factory stock SS/SC Cobalts (maybe none in Canada yet). There was however a modified supercharged Cobalt with a different hood and skirts with 2 exhaust pipes coming out the rear center, under the plate, if I remember correctly. It looked black with metallic dark green specks. The hood and mirrors were composite material.
I think it looked better than the regular SS/SC. Of course, you couldn't get in or touch this car.
They also did not have a stock Ion Red Line, but they did have one (I think it was) with aftermarket skirts too.
I thought this one was ugly though. You could see the big bolts that they used to attach the skirts (on purpose).
I'm sure someone else (MikeSS?) will get pictures, and post them here.

Also if you apply for GMAC financing at the show, if approved, you get 1% off their regular lease/purchase financing rates. Of course, purchase financing 3 years and under is 0% right now, so this is for over 3 years. 4 and 5 year rates are the same amount (can't remember the number now). You do not buy the car there, your approval for the special rate will be sent to the dealership of your choice.

I love the new Mustang and Monte Carlo SS cars that they had there too.

To see all 3 areas (Skydome-Rogers Centre + 2 convention centers) is a pretty long walk though, but there are free shuttle buses.
