I was going to the store tonight and turned onto Gratiot. I got on it in first and didn't realize I was close to rev limiter but I hit it. I hit the clutch then my foot slipped off of it and the engine shut down. It seemed like it was still on but sputtering but the tach was at 0 rpm. I pulled over and tried to start it but it wouldn't start. Everytime I tried it was turning over really hard. I didn't know what to do so I looked at the engine but the flashlight I had SUCKED so I tired one more time. It started and has been running fine since. Did I hit the rev limiter to hard or has anyone else ever had this happen to them. I've hit the rev limiter before but this hasn't happened before.
