CD Holder in Cobalt?

Is there a place to store CD's in the cobalt? All come standard with a CD player it seems but I dont see anywhere to put them in the pictures. Anyone with a cobalt wanna give details as to where they put theirs?

Also are their 6x9's in the back?

Everything but the SS model will have a CD holder in the armrest, I believe it hold 5 CD's.

Don't know about the speaker sizes though.

The base model does not have the armrest.

The LS and LT models do, and yes five is about what they hold.

It looks to have a pair of 6x9's in the shelf and 5 (5 1/2?) in the doors of the base sedan. I haven't seen inside any coupes yet though.

My mistake. Still sucks about the SS not having an armrest though, I find it hard to imagine that chevy couldnt find a way to include even the smallest of armrests in the car.

I don't think it's enough to deter me from buying one however, still gonna be a pain in the ass when driving.

Armrest in SS

My SS will have an armrest, it's called the gear-shifter... The way most of my customers are going to be driving, that's what they'll be hanging on to.

But that's the idea... a sports car you hold onto the wheel with both hands...
A luxury car has all the bells and whistles, thus the LS and LT has armrests.

i found a pre-prod pic that has an arm rest, so it can be done, also here is a pic without one but it has recaro's.

If it doesn't come with one, then i'll make one myself! time to get the fibreglass out again!

i think they are doing something a little like what ford did, again, i dont know this for sure...but if u look at this picture below, it looks as if they are putting a storage compartment possible for CDs to the bottom left of the steering wheel...

almost 100% that's a cd holder...just the right size for one and looks identical to the focus'. you know the commercial where the guy with the crutches comes down to his focus to get a cd.

a) most definatly not a trunk release...

b) most definatly not a fuse box....in all my years of working on cars, no manufacturer has ever put a fuse box locate as a forward facing piece of the dash.

c) that was the exact focus commercial i was talking about...lol...

the only reason i posted that particular picture is because i have seen this same box opening area on the ones shown at recent car shows, so it must be making production with the car.

In the Pursuit, the box by the drivers left knee is a coin holder.

its definately not a cd holder, its not even big enough for a cassette... its a change holder, altho its not carpeted, so change would make an aweful racket in there... it also holds the trunk release...

Yep, I can confirm that. The button for the electric trunk release is in there, as well as a small change holder.

It would be nice to have an arm rest, but in the sedan I drove I had it flipped up most of the time for e-brake access anyways.
