cell phone and radar

ok i went and bought 2 switches with led's and wire, and need to hardwire my radar and cell phone charger and need to know the best way to do this? how can i run them to the switches so that i can turn them on and off with the switch? i would like to know so please help?

It depends where you want to put everything.

The cell phone will be easy, just get a fuse tap (any auto store) and run it to a switched 12V source (i.e. radio/wipers etc)

For the radar detector it will depend on where you want to mount it.
If it is going low on the windshield then just run it to the fuse panel like the phone charger.

If you want it up higher (near the rear-view) than you can splice into the sunroof switch if you have one. Or run the wire down the A-pillar and to the fuse panel

I believe even the cobalts w/ out a sun roof still have the wire needed.

well, what i was thinking about doing was using the switch has 3 prongs, and took the wires from cell charger and tied them into those PVC female disconnects and then put into switch which left 1 prong on the switch so, i was thinking of splicing the wire that runs to the lower cig lighter on the positive wire and using that as my power source and doing this on both?
