chirping

I have been practicing my launches and i just one of the times i didnt let of the gas shifting from 1st to 2nd and my wheels spun real bad but they didnt make a squeeling sound. Just wondering why not. By the way its 36 degrees out right now, idk if that makes a difference. Oh and the roads are dry

The tires weren't getting any traction... usually a screching comes from the tires gripping then ripping away from the ground...

Sure it wasn't clutch slip? lol.. Nah, they'll do that depending on the surface you are on and the temperature. If its cold enough the tires harden up and dont squeal much at all. I used to be able to spin 2nd in the cold, now that its warmer out i'll get a good bark or chirp out of my 1-2 shift.

tires behave differently when they are super cold as in you cant burn out when its too cold. and im guessing there is probs still salt and what not on the road. you will for sure be able to grip better when it warms up

It is way too cold here to get traction. Like someone said earlier you clutch could have slipped as well.
