yea most people probably don't because the screws need to be ground down from the other side and sealed painted. i'm due for paint anyway so it didn't bother me. if you could tack weld in small bolts and just use a nut then to secure the plexi that might work, but heat from the weld could make your paint flake anyway. its tough to figure out other ways of securing it without feeling like you have to worry about it every day. and modifying that red lens is extremely difficult, i tried first and then decided to go this route instead.

I wonder if i got some plexi and heated it in the oven till it was flexable enough to work with, if i could mold around the stock lens and make it look stock.. I dont have access to a vaccuum table so that is kinda outta the question..
