clock springs compatible?

Hey guys just real quick question, I'm in need of a new clock spring cause of me being an idiot and over twisting mine lol. My question is are all the clock springs compatible no matter what year or model of the cobalt? Or by me having a 2012 lnf does that mean i HAVE to buy a lnf clock spring? Thanks guys!

Ok fair enough on the clocking spring, but he sure as **** doesn't have a 2012 lnf.

OP, what happened to your airbag that you need to replace the clocking spring? Did it deploy and you're trying to replace it?

im sorry guys my bad im running off an hour of sleep haha sorry its a 2010 lnf and no the airbag is fine, but when i was doing the motor swap a while back i believe someone turned my steering wheel too much with the rack not connected and it made some noises. it still turns just fine but all of the buttons on the wheel dont work, hence me needing the new clock spring

clock spring is the same all years afaik. u will need to follow deactivation procedure for the air bags to service the clock spring, which can only be purchased as a complete unit, expect to pay about 125 .oo and contact CED for the right parts.
