I already searched and couldn't come to any conclusions. Is ther clutch warrantied under the 3yr/36,000 bumper to bumper. I have 12K on my car and the clutch is def slipping. I'm not asking will they but can they warranty my clutch?

Dealers don't replace clutches unless the car has like 100 miles on it.They consider it driver error or misuse.

Technically the clutch isn't covered but I think it's worth a try taking it to the dealership because you may get lucky. Some people have had their clutch replaced under warranty.

it's worth a shot to take it in... i wouldn't be surprised if they say it's because of driver error and they're not responsible... but defintely worth a shot

The worst that can happen is they say no. I had my warped rotors replaced under warranty when most said they wouldn't be covered.

We replaced a guys clutch (19 yrs old roughly) with 3300 miles on it. My dad was a nice Service Manager and replaced it for him, although telling the customer that it was definitely driver error (front tires were fairly bald already) and told him it was a once and done deal. Kid brought it back a couple hundred miles later and wanted it warrantied again. Needless to say, he didn't get it and wasn't too happy.

worth a try. but dont "expect" it.

asking for clutch warranty is like asking for new brakes.

Whoa there, punctuation is your friend. However, trying to make people read without it a couple times and you loose friends.

Friends don't let friends forget periods.
