Cobalt 2.4 or Mustang GT?
Yea. I think there was a recall? ( not exactly sure on this ).
Stumbled upon an video from last year in this area.
A guy i know ran a Stage 2 Ion Redline at the track and went 8.60s to the redlines 9.0s.
Dude was driving a 4cyl LX Fox with a 5.0 swapped in but still had the 4cyl 4 speed transmission. (stick)
He also later on raced dude from a roll and beat the ion as well.
This confirms to me, (my car would run right with said LX) that i could beat a stage 2 SS/Redline in my GT on motor.
Me on the juice and its gonna take a lot more than any SS/redline has to offer around this area.

5.0 mated to a 4speed manual 4cyl tranny and i thinkit had a b303 cam which is pretty tiny.
Like i said, id run side by side with that car and the ion was stage 2.
I m guessing the 4 banger rear is a steaper gear. Being a notchback 4 banger, i know it is lighter than my old 89lx notch 5.0. My car never ran that good. It had mild mods and I know from time slips my SS ran much better than my old lx. Dont get me wrong, it was nimble. but nothing like that one in the vid.
