Yeh it has been a very busy month for us. We are currently in the process of moving shops. Our current lease was up and we have decided not to renew and instead relocate to a brand new facility that is still being finished. We should be completely back up and running 100% as of Feb 15th. We are currently running at about 90% on our custom fabrication but it really has no effect on our normal day to day operations. Orders are still being filled and shipped as fast as possible. Currently we are subleasing another shop for our fabrication while our new shop is being finished.
Our business interests have changed over the past 2 years and we were at our old location for 10 years. We used to cater to alot of walk-in customers from nassau county and queens but have since moved 90% of our business online so there just is no need to pay high lease rates for the building we currently were in.
Our old shop was about 45 minutes from my house so i have found something closer to home and brand new so we can move forward for this new year and start off fresh. The shop closer to home will help me run some weekend hours if need be and move to a cleaner and safer location.
We have many big things planned for 2010 and this is just the start of it all. We will see you all at more shows and have some SHOP MEETS to gather local GM addicts on the weekends when the weather gets nicer.
Happy New Year to everyone
Thanks Kenny
