its an opel astra, isnt that the basicly the same thing as the cobalt.

 

well the platform but those lines are much sexier than ours.

 

I bet that front end would fit the cobalt just have to swap hood, fenders, headlights, grill and bumper. I like the look and headlights are sweet.

not nessecarily. THe G6 convertible weighs an extra 350lbs. This is def high and not the norm--which are the numbers you state.

I suspect the G6 was never designed as a convertible in the first place. THe Coblat def was not. In any case, bad idea IMO. It would be a prety exspensive Cobalt.

GM would rather you get a Kappa platform vert.

 

that was my first idea... like 3 months ago i posted it and then we got talking about a convert and they asked me to chop one up... thats where the photochops came form

 

Hopefully we will never see a Cobalt convertible! They look like poop IMO!

 

did everyone forget that the cav which the cobalt replaced had a convertable. the price was not all that high. I am sure someone at GM has talked about it.
