What was wrong with the cobalt? I've been noticing a trend here on CSS.net, eveyone seems to be selling their cobalts and when they do they say, "Never again will I do a cobalt" or "Good Riddens" or something with a "I hated my cobalt" tone.
A guy going to Nissan, you going to BMW or Subaru, and another going to a truck.
Did I walk into a mine field when I bought this car 3 months ago?

i wouldnt say that. i had an 01 cavailer in the past. when it came time to buy another economical car, the cobalt was my first choice. and after owning it for 2.5 years and putting over 90,000 Miles in it i have no complaints. all its needed outside of routie stuff was a wheel bearing.

On a test drive, I fell in love and the price was right. Its been in the shop 17 times so far since I bought it... no joke. For dumb stuff.
Now its gonna go in for a leaky trans seal and a dent in my hood where I had corrosion repaired. The body shop MADE the dent and didn't bother to fix it.
I take care of my vehicles, and drive like a grandpa. This **** shouldn't be happening to me.

Yeah, I had an 87 Fiero though...

the people who buy these cars are like damn this car is awesome!!!! then 20k later **** this car....next thing you know you're replacing engine internals because **** is breaking
I think it all depends on the type of person. You have people who hate a maker after they have a car of theirs and **** breaks on it. And then you have people who realize **** is going to break, and fix it.
For example, my sister will "never again go chevy" because after 70,000 miles her speedo and window motor went out. Are you kidding me??
